Planning Operation of the new Elizabeth Line
The announcement that Crossrail will be know as the Elizabeth Line has attracted lots of public attention. There is no denying that it represents a step change in cross London train services. Les Bird, Head of Operations for MTR Crossrail will be detailing the process involved in planning for Crossrail services including driver training and ensuring establishments will meet service requirements effectively and efficiently.
The Caledonian Sleeper Story
One of the most geographically complex operations in the UK, the Caledonian Sleeper has not been without its challenges over the last few months. Tom Curry, Operations Manager will be speaking about how it is operated, overcoming the challenges and plans for the future.
We welcome all IRO members or anyone that works in Rail Industry interested in becoming a member. Refreshments will be available from 17:30 and the event will be followed by our popular networking session giving you the opportunity to meet fellow rail industry professionals.
