Event Details
Greater Anglia recently had their franchise re-awarded, commencing in October 2016, running until 2025. A commitment of this new franchise is to deliver 1,043 new carriages from Stadler and Bombardier – one of the most extensive fleet replacements of recent times.
Mike Kean, Deputy MD, Franchise and Programmes Director Greater Anglia, will outline the key aspects of Greater Anglia’s bid encompassing the requirements of new trains and infrastructure. He will detail the progress made to date and what approach that the franchise has needed to take in order to achieve its commitments. He will also look at the key opportunities this presents for Anglia and the wider railway.
We welcome all IRO members, anyone that works in the railway industry (or is looking to join the industry) and anyone interested in becoming a member. Refreshments will be available from 17:45 and the event will be followed by our popular networking session giving you the opportunity to meet fellow railway industry professionals.
CPD Topics Covered: Asset Renewals, Community Impact, Delivering Customer Services, Delivering Passenger and Freight Services, Financial and Investment Planning, Find out More, Franchise, Operational Planning and Timetabling, Personal Development, Railway Organisations Business Context
