East Midlands are leading the way on the future of integrated planning for CP5. The development of ‘geographical regions’ with the aim of integrating various types of engineering work at the early planning stages is viewed as critical to an effective delivery of numerous works on the MML during CP5. The effective delivery will be judged on access requirements, efficiencies and cost with all industry parties involved. Richard Walker who is the Route Delivery Director will discuss the challenges faced, the efficiencies and the output for the industry in this presentation
