About the levels

Members may apply for all levels of membership. Specially trained existing members of the Institution regularly assess new applications. Your work experience and your professional knowledge are what determine the level of membership you will be awarded. We ask you to think about these – you may surprise yourself – and to set them out in a way which helps our system of peer assessment to evaluate them.
