Richard Morris, co-founder of the Institution, joined British Rail in 1970. This book contains a record of the first 30 years of his career. It was written to celebrate the fun and challenges and to celebrate many of the characters he has encountered along the way. He is the fourth generation of railwaymen – hence the title “Iron in the Blood”. All profits from the book go straight to the Railway Children fund.
