The North East Area Council welcomes Alex Hynes, Managing Director, Northern, to come and talk to members about ‘The Northern Franchise – a new chapter for railways in the North’.
The Franchise started in April 2016, and has ambitious plans to transform rail travel for passengers across the North of England. We look forward to Alex outlining some of these plans, which include new trains and a significant increase in train services.
This event will be of particular relevance to those who are interested in developments in the rail passenger business, as well as those who are studying on one of the IRO courses.
Light refreshments kindly supplied by Tracsis.
Please note that you should aim for a prompt arrival, as the reception area at the Academy will not be manned after 17:30.
