Event Details

Six years ago, Andrew Taylor joined RSSB to contribute to a wide ranging review of train driver training, as part of the industry’s desire to modernise its approach to operational competence. After three years of working with the industry to identify good practice and contributing to its documentation in RS/100 ‘Good Practice Guide to Competence Development’, he joined Southern as Driver Learning Framework Manager to lead a project looking to apply it.

Andrew will talk about the challenges of this project and assess it in the context of how successful the industry has been at developing a culture of dynamic learning.

Refreshments will be available from 17:30 and after the event, plus a group of members usually go for dinner afterwards.

Members should register to attend via the Bookings area below. If you are not currently a member or you have any problems with the booking system, please contact David Pinder to register your interest: se.events@railwayoperators.co.uk
