On behalf of the Scotland Area Council I’d like to welcome you to our area council home page. We met in February 2017 with a real desire to once again reinvigorate the region and deliver events throughout Scotland.

In 2017 we will start once again bringing regular events, comprising of a mixture of guest lectures and outdoor visits. Feedback is important and as we bring you these events we welcome your thoughts on how we can continually improve, particularly geographical locations and how we can make events accessible to more members.

There are significant changes to the rail industry in Scotland over the next few years and this is an exciting time to become a member and make the most of it.
